Job Description:
Saab, Inc. Surveillance Systems division is looking for a Lead Financial Analyst to join the Business Finance organization. This position will report directly to the ATM and Naval Programs Finance Manager and lead a team of analysts executing DoD contracts.
Full time remote candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Primary finance point of contact for FAA Programs, interfacing with program teams and analyst team to lead the tracking and forecasting of financial results
Ensure proper revenue recognition is employed, monitor and positively influence cash flow, oversee controls of program expenditures and preparation of Estimates at Completion while providing timely variance analyses
Collaborate with the Manufacturing and Supply Chain organizations in tracking material and interdivisional costs
Lead and directly support Earned Value implementation within the ATM portfolio including the development and maintenance of program budget baselines including work authorization and baseline change requests
Lead changes and innovation to program controls processes, templates and ways of working
Prepare and present external and internal financial reporting
Work with Program Managers and Finance Manager to ensure program forecasts are accurately reflected in business P&L and cash flow forecasts for the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning.
Provide proposal costing and pricing support, cash flow analysis and review of RFP clauses for compliance
Assist the Contracts and Subcontracts organization in complying with applicable FAR, DFARS, AMS and CAS regulations for all proposal submissions and negotiations
Ensure contract compliance with applicable FAR, DFARS, AMS and CAS regulations
External Audit interface for programs selected for review
Interface with Accounting to ensure program financials are properly stated on income statement and balance sheet
Compensation Range: $94,800- $120,900
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred
10+ years of relevant experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Financial analysis experience in the U.S. DoD and FAA space utilizing Earn Value Management
U.S. Government Contracting experience including familiarity with FAR, DFARS, AMS and CAS rules and regulations
Strong experience in costing and pricing compliant U.S. Government proposals.
Expert in Microsoft Excel including but not limited to pivot tables, formulas and graphing
Ability to interface and work with various cross functional teams and work effectively with various levels of the organization
Well versed in US GAAP, IFRS and other general accounting rules and principles
Proficient Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting software skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to proactively identify and implement process and tool improvements
Expert in Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and database management
